Surface Preparation
Prep Work Decides the Result
The floor is cleared, cleaned, and mechanically prepared so the coating can bond to the concrete. This is the part homeowners may not see in the final photo, but it is one of the biggest differences between a durable coating and a coating that fails early.
Prep may include:
- Grinding or profiling the slab
- Cleaning contaminants from the surface
- Addressing visible cracks
- Reviewing spalled or damaged areas
- Preparing edges, corners, and transitions
Coating Installation
The System Goes Down in Layers
